Shirley Jane Temple was born on April 23, 1928
in Santa Monica, California. The only daughter of
George and Gertrude Temple. At 3 years old, she
was dancing tap with great promise for her age.

They called her "Little Miss Miracle."
With the wink of an eye and a dimpled grin,
Shirley Jane Temple brightened smiles,
melted hearts, and set toes a-tappin’.

She was, said 'Irvin S. Cobb' in presenting
Shirley a special Oscar in l935, "The World’s
Greatest Gift of Joy and Happiness." an..
irresistible youngster with 52 perfect curls.

Shirley became the first toddler to promote the
Film Industry in Hollywood; from her dancing
with Bill "Bojangles" Robinson to working with
the biggest Hollywood legends available.

Her two most personal contacts were...
Eleanor Roosevelt and Amelia Earhart,
they gave her drive, perseverance and
credits them both with being her friends.

Shirley worked tirelessly in Politics, working in..
both The United Nations, and The State Dept.
Although currently retired. Shirley will always..
be Known as Hollywoods Little Princess.

Shirley, has lived in Woodside, Cal. for
over forty years, raising their three children.
Shirley Temple Black is a rarity in that she
sparkled at age 3 and hasn’t stopped since.
